More than triple the price of my existing insurance!

Had my renewal earlier this month and I thought i would try yourselves.
I was shocked to hear the premium was triple the price of my existing policy and that was mentioning the forum!

    I am really aged and found them reasonable, what I found was the excess is good, £175. Most of the others want £500 or more. Just my input.

    Adrian Flux have always helped me out and got it low. £390 for last renewal. Was £550ish last year.

    There is no logic to AF, Admiral beat them by 400 quid this year! I went back to AF and was told they couldn't match it!

    Needless to say I'm now with Admiral'

    I always wondered why there was more than one insurance company offering there services, you never said if you had 9 points and had a DD conviction.

    Flux works for some and not for others hardly the end of the world they couldn't help ??

    I had no luck getting a quote from other insurers on the forum because I had no NCB due to only having had a classic policy for years. AF were the only ones to give me a quote. However, being aged (64), I went to SAGA, who undercut AF by £150.
