Blue&Me TomTom 2 LIVE
« on: October 04, 2013, 01:45:11 pm »
Been looking at a 595 Turismo which is set up for the Blue&Me TomTom navigation system (I guess all the Abarths are?).

http://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/products/car-navigation/built-in/blueme-tomtom-2-live/

Just saw the reviews on Amazon and they pretty much panned it. Any thoughts on it from forum members?

Thanks!

Unfortunately you won't get many opinions on it here as UK cars don't have a sat nav dock like other Euro market cars, so it's a very rare option here.

Try a search for a member called Cyberdog I believe he may be able to help  ;)

Thanks Trooper! I wasn't aware of the UK vs EU spec.

I have the dock in the Evo and had to go and buy the Tom Tom to fill the gap. It is ok and I am glad I bought it but most of the Blue and Me integration is rubbish.  The low fuel thing is trick but to be honest I could always find a petrol station before I had it. The speed camera warning is good and useful but the the Tom Tom Home web utility were you can load updates is glitchy and disappointing.  A Tom Tom 1000 live is a lot cheaper from halfords and fits in the cradle which I think is about 40 quid. You won't get the Blue and Me but to be honest you wouldn't be missing much.
