Aux delphi without cutting wires
« on: September 25, 2015, 08:41:02 pm »
I finally got the aux work without cutting any wires and without the silent track. If you have the Delphi F199FL headunit here is the way to do it.
Firstly buy this http://r.ebay.com/XIwavK
It has to be this format of pins.

Following bit copied from another site:
Connect the three leads of a standard audio cable (L , R, Ground) to the respective pins AF L, AF R , AF Ground and use an extra cable to short-circuit pins D IN - D OUT. The aux selection will work right after.

After this the aux came up when i press source. Not sure if USB works now but never use that anyways.
Then i use a phone cradle that attaches to the cd slot and now can easily change tracks on spotify.

May of been covered already but i am sure this will help someone out with a gen 1 blue and me delphi. Worked on my APE 2011.
