B & Me with old ipod

I have an old ipod Classic, 60 GB full to the brim, around 40'000 songs.
I got it to work successfully, but the only control i have is by songs alphabetically.
Extremely slow to find a song.
Is this the best i can hope for?

    I have forgotten but not sure if you can set up smart playlists with the old ipod to put all the music you listen to in one folder and then just play that??

    or invest in a iphone  :thumb:

    I've got an iPhone but I use it as a phone, and the iPod for music.

    How old is your car???? I use an Ipod classic 80g with 30000 songs on it. You can only control it through the steering wheel buttons, but you can scroll through the menu to get to choosing artists, then albums and then songs.

    I would be more specific on the menu sequence for you, but I havent seen my car for a month now!!

    Hmm interesting, my car is 3 weeks old :)
