I must be very lucky

I have an iPhone 3g that works perfectly with blue and me. No text reader I will adit, but voice dial works a treat. Have had all sorts of bother with other after market systems in other cars, but so far blue and me has been perfect.

I realise writing this will mean that nothing will ever work again, but there seems to be a lot of anger about this system, and I am glad to be missing out.

All I have done was follow the instructions. :-)

    Mine works fine as well. Did in the last car i had too. No message reader for my HTC magic. But im not too fussed about that. Contact names don't work great, especially names like Bethan. Usually i tend to just order the woman about and she seems to listen. We seem to have an understanding- Often wonder what the woman looks like irl. Is that wrong?   :whistle:

    Have to add myself to this list, I have never had a problem since day one (Sep 08) I use a HP ipaq voice messenger with it and it has been faultless, I honestly cant ever remember 'her' not understanding a command ..

    I've seen her. I wouldn't. Even with yours. :thumbd:

    SMS reader works fine for me.  I've not had a single problem with B&M so far.

    Tips for B&M success: 1) use a SonyEricsson phone (one that's more Ericsson than Sony) and 2) always allow time for B&M to start up after turning on the ignition before starting the car.

    if you get a text do you have to talk to the car for it to read it?

    IIRC, when the text arrives, it asks if you want to read it now.  Say "yes" if you do , "no" if you don't.

    learn something new every day I had no idea it reads texts oh and so far no problems with B&M only one with the MP3 player it only plays one song even on shuffle untill i manually change it. but tbh im not fussed i never use it.

    That's because it's on "loop" in the settings! Seems to be the default for some silly reason.

    I am so impressed with Blue and Me, works like a treat. Even the Nav!!! I know it's simple but it does a good job.

    P.S. I'm a Mac and iPhone user too!

    my iphone works a treat with my b&m, and i guess it will have text reader support when o.s 3 comes out for the iphone as it has up to date bluetooth software in it.

    You've installed the SMS reader software?  There's a copy here, by the way.  You should get an extra menu option once installed - is that visible?
