iphone 5 problem
« on: January 04, 2013, 08:56:32 am »
Hi,

I have up until now, had a Nokia phone pairing up with my A500, with no problems at all (phone calls and music have been perfect).
I have now bought an iphone 5 and want to pair that up instead of the old Nokia. I believe the phone calls will not work with this iphone but the music should play I think.
This morning I got in the car, plugged in the usb charging cable and the music on my iphone started playing through the car speakers..... brilliant!
However, after about 5 minutes it stopped playing, and the radio display now says 'no source available'.
The music no longer plays from my iphone. I cant seem to link up bluetooth at all.
Do I need to somehow 'remove' my old device from the cars memory??? Maybe this will help?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks.

Andy

I thnik it is best to remove all the old device info. The iPhone 5 seems to suffer from 'no source avaliable' occasionally. I turn the phone off completely and turn it on again. Does the trick for me.

If I remember rightly, Settings>User data and then it gives you options for fullor partial delete.
