Title: Ipod classic
Post by: Castielrocks on June 24, 2016, 12:18:38 pm
I'm due to pick up a 62 plate Abarth 500 this afternoon. Currently I have a Yaris SR.
My Yaris is brill has bluetooth that connects to my phone Galaxy S6 and also connects my 160g ipod classic via a USB. It also has touch screen to scroll through play lists etc and I control ipod and phone with buttons on the steering wheel. I wanted something a bit quicker hence the Abarth 500. However I'm having a major wobble as I've heard the blue and me system is rubbish and doesn't work with lots of phones and ipods! Anybody use an s6 or ipod classic in their car?

I tend to use Apple Music on my iPhone these days. Just plug it in and leave it a few seconds to sort itself out and works fine. If not I find unplug it and plug it back into the usb slot

I have an Ipod touch gen 1 and it doesnt work when connected by a wire.

Havent even attempted BT not sure if the Ipod has it. IMO Blue & Me is by far the worst BT system I've used.

My ipod classic works fine. On my car bluetooth only works as regards calls, you can't play music via Bluetooth. My Yaris had a fantastic media system I could stream music via Bluetooth on that. I do miss my Yaris, it wasn't as much fun as my 500 but was far superior quality.
