You select the songs that you want to convert then right click on them and "convert to mp3" is an option.

Make sure you have adjusted your quality settings by clicking the edit menu then sellecting preferences.

Apple have just announced that from April onwards 90% of the store will be DRM free, making it much better for us B&M users!

All new purchases after the change in policy will be DRM free, items previously purchased in the store will be subject to an approx 20c per sonf charge to unlock!  (cheeky)

But still it does mean a marked improvement :)

I think the problem will be they are still downloaded as AAC files so once you have bought it you will have to convert it to mp3 as i dont think blue and me supports aac files.

    Maybe i'm wrong though.

It is a step in the right direction though.

No it doesn't support AAC (Unlike the Ford B&M ::) ) But you can just right click and choose convert to MP3 which makes life easier, then I will be able to stick em on my B&M Map and go go gadget music

Exactly, I tunes can covert the .aac into an appropriate B&M format :)

At the moment I use this:

    www.noteburner.com

to get rid of the DRM, it works quite nicely, but its not perfect.  I just want to have my beloved Ipod back in the car - same goes for when I am driving the Spider!

I've posted about this before but I cant remember where. Its a program that you download from the Fiat website onto a USB stick and then put it into the car. It uploads the software to the car and 5 days later pop the stick back into the computer. It will break down all the data and let you know where you can save money by changing gear better, better acceleration ect. Its not really meant for Abarth but it does work.
P.S. when you set it up on your P.C> you have to tell it your driving a grande sporting 120 T-jet.
