We have a question John.....

One of Malc customer's has a 500 with Blue & Me....he has told Malc that there is a facility on his that
will read out his texts when he recieves them, is this true & does ours have the same facility if so how
do we get it to work  ???

    Check out my earlier post in this thread, there's a link to the Fiat Group website where you can download the SMS reader.  Should work fine in the 500.  :thumb:

    System in the G.P. is identical to 500 so it should work fine. It is dependant on which handset you have as to whether it will work.

    Oops.  Was trying to answer quickly and forgot to look at who was asking!  :-[

    I have it on mine.  Works a treat with my SonyEricsson.  Although some people report having trouble getting it to recognise them saying the word "Yes" when it asks if you'd like it to read out the text.

    Yes my Abarth had the SMS reader installed from factory - however it doesnt work with my SE phone.

    THe same phone does work with the SMS reader system on my Alfa  -  just shows how many irregularities and 'holes' there are in the B&M system!

    Thanks guys, we have just downloaded all the 'stuff' to our memory stick & then checked our phones compatability
    D'oh as Homer would say....our's are Sony Ericson C902's !!!

    We will load it into the car anyway ready for when we get our new phones in the coming months.
