eco drive.......where's the Abarth models???
« on: March 24, 2009, 10:26:58 pm »
Hi

Just loading eco drive thingy, but when it asks what vehicle, it only goes up to t-jet 120bhp

What about the Abarth models??  Will it make any difference to the data collection?

OR am I looking in the wrong place  :P

the abarth models arnt on it unfortunatly, however it doesnt really matter just select the 120tjet for an abarth GP and select the 100 bhp sporting for the Abarth 500.

data collects fine for me :) - the eco score isnt too great for me though - oh well!!!!! cant say im right bothered as the car is more for fun than anything else for me.

select the 100 bhp sporting for the Abarth 500.

I can't help feeling thats going to give you some wildly inaccurate economy figures.

What if it messes with the electronics and makes it drive like a 1.4 sport?!

I've had no problems with it on my G.P. but Euroboy has said it can cause problems with 500.
If you want to put it on a G.P. then just select a t-jet 120. The only problem is it will not be accurate because the t-jet only has 5 gears.

Going to resurrect this thread rather than start a new one.

Just finished my first month of data and I'm a little shocked by the results my economy rating is 74  :o I had no idea I was being so good. Only thing it moans about is acceleration where I get 2-2.5 stars but that could be the mis match between the models. It hasn't seemed to caused the car any grief but I do always let all the electrics start before turning the engine, so no flashing mileage so far.   Still giving me 35mpg for a majority of urban driving.

I know none of us will buy the car for economy it shows that for when you can't get good driving roads it won't rob you blind going a to b.
