Switching tracks from head unit
« on: September 02, 2016, 10:33:13 pm »
Hi all,
Unimportant problem but it's niggling me.
When playing music from lpod or usb device, I can't change tracks up or down using the buttons on the head unit, only with the buttons on the steering wheel.
Just wondered is this normal? Or is it yet another thing that's broken on my car!!

Yes it seems to be one of those little quirks, I use an iPhone and have to use the buttons on the steering wheel.

Yeah, one of the little quirks, hardly ever touch the head unit though.  I think you can change it on the series 4 though.  I know the series 4 lets you seek through tracks for the first time via the steering wheel.  Short press = next track, long press = seek.
