Windows Media Player.

Press Alt + T to open Tools menu.  Then 'Options'.  'Rip Music' tab.  Under 'Rip Settings' change 'Format' to MP3.  Move the quality slider up to the max (right) if you want.

Re-rip the CD.

Try that.

I know i'm being thick here, but i already have the files on the computer, so do i have to go and get the CD's and rip them all over again?  :-[

You have WMAs.  You want MP3s.  Far easier to just re-rip.

Thanks for your help, i re-ripped the discs directly onto the USB. It worked fine, but on random, it coincidentally picks the same tracks over and over it would seem!

Anyway, as expected, after 2 nights of Music, I'm bored as hell, so the USB will sit in the cup holder for another year or two now...  ;)

It's nothing special. Thought i liked it, but once again got very bored very quickly. Think i'l just leave it out my life, i've managed 23 years without it.

Okay, if you are like me, I have rocrded many old records straight in windows Media Player with out spending hundreds of pounds on those fancy "Convert your Record to your Computer Tuntables" and they are WMA files so if these are put on my USB stick, will they work in my "Multi Million Pound FIAT USB Plug System" or is it back to the drawing board and burn to CD then re-rip as MP3 format which I know how to do.

Also, how will it affect the FIAT system if a WMA file gets on my USB stick between MP3 Format files by mistake?

This is good for recording anything that comes through your computer speakers.  You can do conversion with it too.

Depends on how good the original video poster recorded it... some of the stuff I've recorded sounded like a Dalek falling down some stairs.
