I'll keep that in mind! Cheers for the comments people!

Bit of an update. Recently I picked up a pair of Sparco Abarth seats, from what I have read these were a ~£700 option when new and there are very few sets (possibly only 3) in the country. A few years back these were changing hands for £300+, and I have not seen another set for sale in years.

Found them on eBay, covered in filth with minor damage and got them for £70.

    As they arrived.

    Cleaned up as best I can with a hoover/household steam cleaner/stain remover/scrubbing.

Have got a upholstery cleaning guy coming to have a go at them later so hopefully he will get better results as there are still quite a lot of stains on them.

If they can be cleaned up to a decent standard, few bits replaced and some minor repairs done then I am hoping they will be in good enough condition for me to be happy about fitting them. If not then I aim to get them fully retrimmed, can't be letting the car down with dodgy looking seats!

They do seem to tick all the boxes for me though as I have been wondering about getting more supportive seats for a while but also feel the need to retain the OEM look.

Hi I have a pair of these Sparco Abarth seats in my HGT when I got mine they were grubby like yours you can take the covers off no problem I put them in the washing mashine on a cold short wash they are like new now just take out the 4 bolts at the bottom of the seat and lift the tabs holding the cloth the back is easy just pulls off hope this has helped.

I might have a go at this! Was planning on swapping as much as the subframe/runners as I could with the stuff fitted to my car at the minute, so will have a look when I take them off.

The guy that came to clean them did a pretty good job but there there are still some darker areas around the bolsters.

Should be picking up some new parts for them from Mangoletsi in the next few days.

It took me a day to do one seat hang them on the line don't tumble dry them or they might shrink, they are showroom fresh now they were so dirty that the guy a purchased them from only wanted a ton with my old HGT seats in with the deal as he was selling the car anyway, I also have the Abarth covers for the rear seats too they are like hens teeth to find I purchased 3 new sets of these on the German Ebay £35 each kept one and sold each pair for £90 on UK Ebay they went like hot cakes as you can imagine.

Cheers! I need to remember to keep checking on here for local things! That said the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power isn't far...

    Thats some nice profit!

Decided against putting them in the washer although it might happen one day. Got fed up of them sitting in the garage so had a play at the weekend and got the driver's side in. Absolutely transformed how it feels to drive!

When you fitted your set did you manage to get rid of the Airbag warning light with resistors? If so any info on what I need/fitting would be great!

    Couple of pics...
