My Abarth 130 TC Cabrio
« on: March 19, 2009, 03:49:56 pm »
I found this car in Norway last year.
When I saw the Cabrio for the first time I did wonder if it would come as an Abarth.
It didn't as far as I know.  ;)
Mine has been totally rebuild, the suspention, engine, shocks - front and back and interior, all has been transfered from 130.
When I bought it, there was some work to be carried out.
A year has now passed and it's not long before it will see the roads again.
The base, the Cabrio is from 1983 and the rest is from 1985.. I think ;)
As this car is not a original, I have decieded not to go down that route.
The wheels and exterior will be as I want it to be.
Here is a fe pics, the whole story can be found here.

     :D thank you very much!

seeing what has happend to the car during the previous year has been amazing.
I had an idea of what it would look like.. and I have followed it.
since I can't do welding or paintwork I've got to know a guy who is fantastic.
he likes the car and want to see the finish.. and like to do the work.. so it's a perfect match.
aswell.. he dosen't charge me a fortune for doing it. :D

When I actually saw the car painted in the new color I was about to cry! (I'm a grown man) LOL
but could not believe the result. :D

theres nothing wrong with that at all.... if you have a passion for something such as yourself. to spend all the time and effort on it and it not effect you would be a waste :)

you certainly have a good looking car now!

so whats the list of stuff you have done to it then?
