Very friendly staff who are well informed and extremely helpfull. Promptly sorted out any requests and kept me well informed with regard to status of car's progress from the factory. The dealership itself is great. Ryan who I delt with was professional and very helpful with everything. No problems at all, smooth hand over with regards to collecting the car. I was well informed of all offers. I greatly enjoyed my experience with the dealership and I'm sure all of their other customers will also be. Thanks a lot !

    *** update***

Just got Carlos back home and all is sorted, 0900 start friendly service and give him the once over oil and filter change plus some garages goodies £99.  On the funny side I had to ask for the remaining oil I paid for :-/ I'll put it down to a heavy Friday night.  Job done and happy :-) that's what counts.  :-)

Awesome garage, Dealt with Raymond Donnelly who then put me in touch with Stuart Pedlow (Abarth Sales). They brought the car down to the Dungannon Fiat Showroom (a good 60 miles or so from Abarth showroom) to give me a spin so I didn't have to travel.

Ever since I bought it Stuart has been bringing it up and down for services and anything warranty and even refueled it (he does live locally but it's still a huge favor so I don't have travel).

My brother had a Alfa at the same garage and the service was identical with other staff.

Can't recommend them enough, it's easy to see why they have so many dealerships.

I really liked the Donnelly Brothers dealership when I visited a few times a few weeks ago.

The guys were very willing to take me for a test drive, talk to me about spec, even offered me a car for a weekend so see how I felt about owning.

I was quite impressed that they weren't trying to sell me the most expensive options etc. Really thought - here's a company I wouldn't mind spending my money with (bit of a rarity in the car business).

    BUT...

I've been waiting for a call from the salesman with a final trade-in valuation for the best part of two weeks. All has gone quiet. Not even a call to say "we're still working on a deal". I am thoroughly surprised as I'm sure they realised they had a definite buyer.

However, with the financial crisis things don't always seem to work the way you expect. An example being that in the last couple of months a couple of the banks I have significant savings with have reduced the interest rate to absolutely nothing - because they don't need the money. So I'm thinking that perhaps what I'm seeing is Donnelly Bros selling loads of 500s because its a recession and loads of people want small cars, with the result that they don't really need my business. I sort of understand their logic if this is the case.

I return to Glasgow tomorrow, so I'm not going to get too worked up about it and was wondering perhaps what the local Abarth dealer is like there, and if they will be any more keen to have me as a customer. Views anyone?

another shout for donnellys here... We bought our panda off them this week in the mallusk dealership.... They were very friendly and even got the missus a bunch of flowers when she picked the car up.... One of the staff gave me a test drive in a 595 and didnt torture me to buy it after, which is a big relief in any dealer... He gave me the brochure and when the time comes they will get my business, no doubt about it..  :thumb:

I had poor service from Donnelly Brothers 2 years ago , trade in quote was £2k under mainland UK dealer quotes , the guy I was dealing with was very pushy also , to cut a long story short  I ended up keeping my 500 sport and getting £500 more trade in after another 2 years ! I will be using Donnellys for my 595 service / warranty issues that may crop up as I have little alternative so hopefully things will have improved.

Thumbs up from me for Donnelly Abarth, Mallusk.

Had my 27k oil and filter change done today. They also changed my brake fluid.

Additionally, I'd had the issue of the standard exhaust back-box rotting through. Although explicitly not covered in 3rd yr dealer warranty Donnelly had negotiated goodwill from Abarth to the tune of 50%. However, this was still going to be expensive so I managed to pick a brand new system on eBay for £80 and Donnellys reduced the cost of fitting to £25.

Great service, good value - even though I'd bought the car privately.

    Thanks guys!

Just had my service done and there wasn't a problem at all, they looked at a few issues (6th gear in the evo section) and though their technicans were happy to do the job the assessors wouldn't let them. The technican Robert came out and went fully through their report on it and told me some advise on how to proceed.

I requested them not to wash the car (bit odc about it haha) and it was well noted on the tag on keys and on the service plan for the car. Darren and Steven on the service desk are great and rang me at different stages to say the expected finishing times and what was happening.

David and Drew on sales are also very friendly, everytime I've been in they always say hello and have a chat.
