Brought my A500 from Glyn Hopkins Fiat in Chelmsford they had it sent from Romford Abarth, the sale went smoothly but the after sale care has been 100% POO to put it nicely, a few things with the car went wrong so before Christmas took the car in to see if they could sort it under warranty, they said that was fine and would call after x-mas to book it in "Great"!! Well a month had passed didn't hear back so I gave them a call and they said sorry they didn't get back and book it in for the bumper to be painted due to flaking paint, took the car in first thing in the morning and collected it in the evening to find the work had not been done, due to the mobile painter not being in on Thursdays so I wasted my time, the service manager said he will give me a call on Monday to re-book it, Monday went so I left it till today and gave them a call, the service manager wasn't free as he was on the phone but was told he will phone me back straight after but surprise, surprise no reply!!  :thumbd:

I have given up now and will not be taking my car there for any work!! Moan over  :'(

Completed my 2nd year oil and filter change at a very reasonable cost in very quick time, great stuff.

Even better, as a big bonus, they even washed and vaccumed my car!  :thumb:

    Many thanks guys!!

hi I went to Glyn Hopkins Romford today and was greeted by a salesman called Paul. he was very nice and asked if I wanted a refreshment. I told him what I was after and he showed me the stock they had. I picked a car (500 abarth) yummy. we went back into the showroom to go through the details.

As he was discussing the price. I pointed it out that the website was 1k less than what was in the car window. he spoke to his manager and they agreed. so 1k saving already. then we spoke about how much my car was worth and that I owed more than it was worth. depreciation is terrible on fiats.

then he said about a £500 contribution that the finance company will give me. so another saving. which made it look good. I only have to pay 30 more a month. then he pulled out the bag a full tank of fuel. I paid a deposit that will be refunded when I collect the car. I will be collecting this week. looks like a win win for me. overall my experience was much better than my last 2 cars from there. hope this is of help to other people.
