I was not overly impressed after visiting them yesterday and despite having bought two brand new Abarths from them (Nov 2012 & Sept 2014) I doubt I will be dealing with them this time. I went in to find out about trading in my 595 Turismo (18 months old, 10,000 miles, showroom condition) for a 180 Comp and they said they would give me £10k
I know you don't get a lot back when you add a lot of options on a new car but they know what they can sell the car for and considering the spec (MTA, bicolour paint, leather interior sunroof, monza & xenons), I think £10k was a poor offer. That's the same amount they gave me when I part exchanged my A500 NP for the 595 18 months ago & that was nearly 2 years old with 16000 miles on the clock. I looked on their website after I had been in to the showroom and they have an instant valuation feature, which came up with £11400 & even WBAC offered £11500. Then we come to the £500 deposit contribution they generously offered - no mention of the £950 Abarth deposit contribution I later saw advertised, again on their website.
We went to see about part exchanging my wife's Fiat 500 for a new one last week, and Fiat give a £1500 loyalty payment against a new car, which sounds more like it. That dealer said they can now order Abarths so I think I will see if they can come up with a more inviting offer.
