Although Petch have been an Abarth dealer since the reintroduction of the brand in the UK, it has been at the York branch, which is now a Service Centre. The Sales department has been moved to their branch on the Skipper Lane Industrial estate in Middlesbrough. Abby Richardson is the Abarth salesperson and is very enthusiastic about the brand.
I used the configurator to work out the spec of the new car, so placing the order was quite straight forward. A test drive in the dealer demonstrator confirmed that the new turbo and other mods made it a step up from the previous version, without too much of a price increase.
Abby kept me up to date with the build process, everything went to plan until the car was due to be built and on the day it was not. This led to a 4 week delay, still not fully explained.
Once the car was confirmed as built, everything ran smoothly. I asked Abby that I did not want their vehicle preparers to touch the car, as usually they tend to put more swirl marks on the car. Abby actually took the transit films off the car herself. My detailer confirmed that the paintwork was almost swirl free.
Apart from paying for the car, a pain free process.

We used the same dealership a few months ago to buy a used 2016, 595 (140bhp).
The purchase experience went smoothly, the salesperson was efficient & nice.
After a bit of negotiation we did a deal on future servicing.
The service department have also tried to be as helpful as possible, never complaining about any warranty work or taking a look at the car for free under warranty so far. No trouble at all with regards to offering a replacement courtesy car whilst ours being serviced.
So on a whole I'd recommend them for purchasing a used Abarth, I've certainly experienced far worse service from other manufacturers & dealers in the past.
