I collected my A500 today after ordering at the end of January. The Abarth specialist is Jonny Boyes who is spot on and a good laugh. They have a good selection of both A500's and AGP's at the showroom. Jonny sorted me out with a good deal and helped out wherever he could. I traded my car in and things couldn't have been easier. I can highly recommend the dealer. Very handy that I live 10 minutes from it.

Also to point out that when we picked ours up the girlfriend found a tiny scratch on a wing mirror cover. Jonny was fine about it and is ordering me a new one which is good of him.

been through to Petch today to have some warrantee work done (doors creeking and to see about the black side skirt that has started un-glueing itself from the car)

i arive just as the dealership opened and we greeted by a smile which was nice. The lady at reception delt with my form and made the effort to talk to me. (something i find most dealers dont do). i asked her if i could speak with the abarth tech, who promptly came out to speak to me, showed him the trim that was comming off and he informed me that it would requirer body shop. i then stood around chatting to him about the car for a good 20 mins, he was a top bloke and you could see he genuanly liked what he did. he then told me he'd look at my car first which he did, doors sorted and he also updated the blue and me which was nice of him :)

car is booked in for the 1st to have the trim looked at but all in all another fantastic experiance at SG petch. good job guys, keep it up  :thumb:

got creaking suspension so called in at SG Petch on way to scarborough for the day, the tech who fitted my SS kit came straight out , quick test drive and 2 hours on the ramp, he explained what he was doing and although couldn,t be fixed same day the service i recieved was excellent. car goes back next week for two days and i get a loan car.

jonny the salesman came for a chat, the parts guy came for a chat, there a great team

I wanted to give feedback for some great help and advice I've recently recieved from Mike from the service dept at SG Petch.

SG Petch fitted their first A500 SS kit to my car for the first owner, pre-delivery, and one of the regsitration tasks in the Fiat/Abarth database needed to be completed such that I'd be able to make a warranty claim on a couple of parts in the SS kit. He was very helpful and chased up what needed to be sorted.

Then he took the time to be frank and honest regarding the issues I have with my car and also offered to fax through the service notes for checking the geometery, which enabled me to cross reference the SS kit settings with those at my local geo place.

I would have taken my car to SG Petch for service and warranty work after the great help, service and advice I'd received from Mike, but as they are almost 200 miles away I had to look for somewhere more local.

My car is going into SG Petch tommorow for a couple of issues with it, Creaking Suspension & Aux belt sqealling, Its saying for 2 weeks as im going on holiday on friday!

I have used them twice before, first for the brake shims, same day as well, and second for new abs sensors.

Ive always had really good service from them, they even washed me car for me! so hopefully this time will be no different.

been in to petches today to book a service, as usual they were a pleasure to deal with, the parts guy is always chatty, got to catch up with jonny in sales and the service lady was helpful as ever.

they had a new girl training on reception, never encountered an AGP SS before so a bit of extra training for her and a guided tour of my car

got to take them chocolate  when i next go in though, thats how you get good service :thumb:

18ooo miles service at Petches today, £196.05 using oil provided by myself.

they had the car for 2 1/2 hours whilst i looked round the shops and had a chat and a coffee with them when i picked it up.

the car was clean when it went in but they still gave the white wheels a once over just to finish it off.

had a chat about the TMC box and no faults showed up on examiner.

as usual, good sevice and a reasonable price, well worth the chocolates

nearly forgot, Bekki the new girl remembered me booking the car in and when i arrived was about to say "ahh, the pimped punto" but got worried it might be the wrong customer so she didn,t say it... she just said said "ahh, the pimp...."  oops, still worth a box of chocolates though ;D ;D

Excellent service from petch, took car on wednesday for new driveshaft gaitor and leaking endplate on gearbox, all sorted, picked car up tonight. They were not concered about the mods to the car either. No queing at the desk, infact the two times we have been there has never been anyone else their. I will let them off for the Kia they gave us.

I took my car into the dealer yesterday for an oil and filter change and some warrenty work carrying out. Have to say that im very impressed, ive had a few issues here in the past but i can only compliment them on yesterday.
John, one of the the techs was trying to diagnose the problems and has ordered the parts, and its booked in for thursday.
Have the say that this dealer is vey good and care for your care, and i will keep on taking my car here even though there is another abarth dealer closer.

In all the exitement i forgot to mention my Petch experience.
Big thanks to Jonny for a seamless purchase and pick up of my Evo. Most of the purchase was conducted over the phone, i knew what spec i wanted, Jonny found one, i buy it, simple.
I got More fuel in the tank than i was expecting, nice suprise :thumb:, and sorry to jonny as myself and  DQ talked all things Abarth, we dont normally bother .
    Great car, great dealership. :thumb:

spent a lot of today at petches.

i have things to be unhappy about [ konis don't fit] but that was in no way their fault.

they did my oil and filter change and 2 yearly brake fluid at a very reasonable cost.

they sorted my creaky supension out effectively under warranty after fixing my washer problem earlier in the week also under warranty.

they spent a considerable amount of time and effort trying to fit my KONIs before concluding that they would have to be returned to the supplier.

all the staff involved were friendly and as helpful as possible. john the abarth tech is really enthusiastic, paul the parts guy is great, bekki the receptionist was in control of things and jonny from sales came to see what was going on.

they were a pleasure to deal with even though things were not going to plan and the chocolates were rewarded with coffee on demand

overall, these are good people to deal with :thumb:
