I have to say I seem to be in a minority here - think Jonny is brilliant, always has time to chat and seems to remember his customers.
Unfortunately I have had nothing but problems with the service department. I will be ringing on Monday to complain - not for the first time, be glad when its out of warrenty and can go somewhere else!

Car went for a service today, very impressed by the service.

The service cost was also very good.

Carl the service manager appears to know his stuff & a good guy.

Amendment to my previous post - I've had several problems with the car and got very frustrated.

Carl has been brilliant and really understanding, he's a massive plus to the team at York. My car is now fixed  ;D and they have offered to do my next service free as a way of making up for all the problems.

This has to be the best dealership i have ever been to. Very friendly and inviting and who can resist the free coffee they offer

there were a few things i was unhappy about on the a500 i was buying so they sorted them out for me and even swapped the multispoke wheels that was on the car to the petal wheels for free. A** service highly recommended and johnny boyes is a credit to the dealership

Got a call today from Carl the Service Manager and my car is ready to be picked up tomorrow as promised.

    This was the job list:

Fading Centre Caps - On backorder, but covered under warranty
Peeling Side Stripe - Replaced under warranty
Sticking OSR Brake Calliper - Removed and cleaned under warranty
Passenger Wing Mirror not heating - Mirror glass replaced under warranty
"Whine" from transmission at 3,500rpm - Gearbox stripped and investigated but no fault found.  Gearbox fluids replaced and need to see if that helps. Again, all the time and checks are covered under warranty
Passenger seat base, 5p coin sized spot flaking on red leather - Photos taken and will be sent to Abarth for comment.

All in all, I cannot fault the service I've had.  Fantastic job  :thumb:

I picked up my A500 today from Jonny and cannot fault the dealer (so far anyway), agree with comments that Jonny is a credit to them isn't your usual pushy car sales person (which I hate) and lets you make your own decisions whilst offering advice and assistance along the way.

Would recommend to anyone for sales, will find out about servicing in due course I guess!

Had to have the Abarth 500 recovered into S G Petch today as it appeared to have an awful knocking noise from the passenger side drive shaft.

The AA took the car to them, 2 hours after the AA dropped the car in S G petch had fixed the problem & also carried out other warranty work that they found.

With Carl in charge of the service department , this garage without doubt the best I have ever dealt with.

I would be more than happy to recommend them to anyone.

    Simply brilliant levels of service.

back to petches today, another oil and filter change. these 6000 miles intervals certainly keep you in touch with your friendly local dealer. usual good service, coffee and a chat.

its a pleasure to deal with them :thumb:

and my car was parked next to the white AGP with colour coded skirts and bumpers, which looked different

Picked my new A500 Esseesse up today from Jonny and have to say he is a credit to the company, great to deal with particularly when choosing spec etc. didn't seem to worry about how much time he spent helping, I know it's his job but all too often sales people don't give a damn. Paul Miller in Parts was also helpful. Great Job! :thumb:

    Equally impressed, very good service.

Very helpful when an hour long 9000 mile oil change changed into a 24 hour wait for a new tyre.

Was given the esseesse demonstrator for 2 days until I could get back to pick it up.  :thumb:

I was equally impressed with the essesese kit so will be popping back soon to have one fitted.
     ;)
