I've just bought my 595 Comp from Swansway and mine was their first order as an Abarth dealer - although they have had the Fiat franchise for some time. The experience I have to say was pretty faultless overall - they came up with a cracking deal on the car, they did exactly what they promised to do, when they promised to do it, and the car was prepared and delivered perfectly.... so, so far 10/10 to them..... it was a far more pleasurable experience dealing with them, than I've had dealing with some other prestige marques in the past such as BM and Porsche and Mercedes....

After 3 emails were ignored and 4  phone calls went un-returned I gave up trying to book a service with Swansway

    Sales team were excellent
Car went in for a warranty job on the fans, nothing major. But they let (what I assume was) some 16 year old b3llend wash it, front bumper was scratched. To be fair they sorted it but it took 6 week fom Initial call to when it was fixed and I had to escalate to a director.
    Poor show !

I've had a appalling experience with swansway Chester car was with the from 31st of October till the end of January to have a gearbox replaced wasn't offered a replacement car for that time and was left in the dark over what was happening for weeks on end. Car came back scratched and marked but couldn't get anything out of them to fix it had to take it back a week after collecting it my self after a week of them telling me they would deliver it back to me as I'd put the car on sorn for the winter meaning I had to tax the car to go and collect it. Then I had to take it back a week later for them to replace the cables to the gearbox as they didn't do it when fitting the new box. Recently taken the car for a replacement seat cover on the drivers seat as it had worn threw the leather only to get the car back with the seat looking like a saggy man sack and the center console gouged by the oger who did my seat. Car is now back with them as they attempt to fix it. Very bad workmanship from there staff and lack of communication.

I took my Abarth 500 into Swansway in March for it's 18,000 service, as they were the cheapest. I couldn't fault them, service was good from start to finish. My only niggle was when I returned to the dealership my car was being cleaned after specifically asking for it not to be touched. Although it was a nice gesture, I'd rather not of had to polish out the swirls.

Yesterday I booked it back in for some warranty work, it took three phone calls before someone finally rang me back just before they closed. I'll wait and see...

I got my Abarth 500 from Swansway chester in september 2015.

It didn't get off to a good start. I originally went in wanting a 500s 0.9 Twin Air with 105 bhp. I placed the order and paid my deposit. When I turned up to pick the car up the car was nothing like what I had ordered. It was the 85bhp one, Older than I was promised and the paint work was badly damaged. I informed them I would not be taking the car. Eventually we managed to get me a good price on the Abarth but I did not receive any discount or compensation from them. After that everything has gone fine but I will be taking my business elsewhere when I get a new one.

Just went to their 124 launch event which consisted of one small poster, no cars and uninterested staff aimlessly wandering around.

No longer selling Abarth, Fiat or Alfa now, just Jeep.
Still offering servicing on the above and one or two second hand vehicles
