Had a second service last week.  Phoned on Monday, goot appt for Wednesday and after 30,0000 miles I obviously needed new brakes all around.  I got a good discount and my car goes like a rocket after this service.  I don't know what they do at garages, but Scorpi runs fast and smooth. And no more squeaking.  The rear pads had not worn down any in 2 years.  In fact, Thames asked me where I had them done recently.  I did not have them done, they were originals. So I got suspicious and had them replaced. In any event, Thames in Slough are very cool.  In my opinion.

Had to decide whether to add the Esseesse to my Abarth or not. AJ in sales let me test a car on their forecourt and was very helpful. Decided to go for it and had no problems or complaints with they guys in service. Their cost for the 18k service and the esseesse kit were very very competitive. Would recommend.

Drove the Thames demo car a week before the launch, for various reasons ended up buying my car elsewhere (not Thames fault)

But popped into the service department last Saturday, my Blue&Me microphone is not working, the iPhone sounds garbled when it plays music (through the adaptor) and it would be nice if my LHD Xenons could be repointed

Service manager couldn't have been more helpful, when I said I work in town during the week so really needed to have work done on a Saturday, he offered me a loan car booked for a week! So the A500 goes in on the 18th and I have the loan car to Xmas Eve if I can't get there sooner

And I didn't even buy from them, so pretty impressed

Popped in for the Airbag recall and come out with a Monza Exhaust.  ;D Car was cleaned even though it was clean so wished I had not washed it the day before. Very helpful. Only one complaint but not Garage work, etc.

I will have a one Year Service done there next May. Good rates as well. I will get them to do my new Brembo Drilled Brake Disc's all round when I get them soon so I have that little extra stopping power.

I called them in  the morning to sort out my washer jet issue, got a booking in the afternoon and was sorted in under 30 minutes. Quick and efficient  service department.
Brembo brake kit now on and loving it!

Popped in to get a new key paired with the car.  Before we left I attemped to top up the washer bottle and ended up with wet feet and a still empty washer bottle - so it looked like there was a massive leak.  I usually clean the windscreen before leaving for work in the morning so have rarely used the jets. Thames had a look at the bottle whilst it was there and ended up fixing the jets instead and they had no issue filling the washer bottle.   :thumb:

I suspect I missed the washer bottle entirely, even though I was using a funnel  ::)  I blame the lack of light in my car port  :)

The slip road from the M4 to the south bound M25 still has a massive trench across it that felt awful even at 25mph.

Time for some Konis to be fitted ;D

Had my disc's done and Calipers checked over for warranty at Slough last Friday. Never got that free car wash this time. I bet that was because I supplied the disc's so they never made much money ::)

Good as always at Slough :thumb:

Just got my A500SS back from repair.

Everything as it should be. Swapped courtesy car for mine, paid up and off in 5mins. They'd even put some petrol in it!

All the service team had smiles on their faces.

    Good job guys.

Popped the car in with a very annoying squeeky seat and ended up with a brand new drivers seat  :thumb:

Also had a test drive in an APE as the wife is probably going to need a new car soon and it was good.  Not as much fun as the A500 esseesse.

Car went in for first service (low mileage) so change of oil and filter, gasket changed, tyres rotated. £200 all in inc. £40 for oil and £110 for labour. Not too bad considering its south  Very pleased with service and communication. Had a radiator fixed under warranty too. As the parts were not in had to wait 4 days but they charged me just for one day for curtesy car. Nice touch I thought. All in all - recommended!

Bought my car from Ajay at Thames back in November last year. Great guy, Great service!  :thumb: Also, managed to kerb an alloy 2 weeks ago and got in touch with a mobile service in my area who wanted to steal my alloys away from me for 4-5 days and paint them a different colour...which meant I would lose the beautiful diamond cut finish!  :thumbd: After having my doubts I called Ajay, who arranged for me to drop my car in at Thames, Slough and hey presto 3 hours later my car rolled up outside the dealership with the alloy looking brand new....AND the same colour.

Like I said. Great guy, Great service! Keep up the good work Ajay!  ;D

Called late Jan and talked about a quote for fitting Konis and a couple of other things. Still waiting for the qoute and other updates...... :thatsit:
Red A500 SS, Monza exhaust, black leather, white mirrors, Koni FSDs. Not sure what happens under the bonnet but the car still keeps me smiling......must avoid the technical engine-type posts...
