I have a 65 plate Turismo. In June 2017 I went to Westover Salisbury for a warranty claim - the locking wheel nut key had broken and couldn’t remove the locking wheel nut.
I go to the service desk and the young woman doesn't know that they deal with Abarths ! After a bit of asking around somebody says they do deal with Abarths. My confidence in the dealership is now at a low ebb. She takes the broken locking wheel nut key and disappears out the back. After a while she returns and says the service manager says it is not a warranty claim. However they can remove the locking wheel nut for about £40 for each wheel and supply a new set of locking nuts for about £50. A total of about £200.
If that is not a warranty claim I don't know what is.
I did not argue.
I had learnt what their attitude to customers was, their willingness to do warranty work and their level of technical competence (They did not use a microscope.) . None of the Westover Group will ever have my business.
So I had a car with its wheels permanently attached. Fortunately there is a man near Reading who does the job. It was quick and simple.
