I'd like to chop mine in for something better too. Was thinking about a drop head phantom. Fairly quick and it has 4 seats   ;D

Did you not see Phantom drag race video?

No AB , is there a link? I did get dragged to a "drag"bar on my stag weekend. NOT nice!   :thumbd:
Now that I'm a grown up I drive a sensible grey 595 Competizione with grey leather sabelt seats and yellow brake calipers. It's jolly nice! It's got a name - ' Razzogrigio' Now with a custom S/S group N style exhaust, black Esseesse wheels and a GTT induction kit, all sitting on Eibach springs.

I want to chop the A500 in for something better, was looking a new Merc SLK or Lotus Elise, both quick but economical. But i need at least 4 seats as i'm always doing taxi missions etc.

Get a daily shed and an S1 Elise as a toy.  :thumb:

I've just been out and got a nice big new tent for Le mans next year! Gonna cut the grass and put it up. Now that's going off topic   ;D

Back on topic : it wouldn't fit in the boot of a coupe!

Have you guys seen that Lotus are bringing the Exige back, but this time with a V6 3.5 litre engine. Better still they will also be offering a supercharged version as well outputting 348bhp I think. Prices are rumoured to be starting at around £40,000.

As far as coupes go I quite like the Ginetta G40R as well. Ok its only 180bhp but its still light enough that it will see 60mph in around five seconds. It will also be fairly unique as well with a target of shifting 100 cars a year, and a price of £30,000.

I do think it will be a real shame if Fiat price the Abarth coupe too highly as some limited edition folly as it seems like there will be plenty of competition in the coupe market.

The 348bhp Exige is for the supercharged & chargecooled version and will be very north of £40k.

Interesting to see the weight of it considering the extended longerons, rear clam and that boat anchor of an engine lump.  You can get that sort of power from a 2.0 litre with a supercharger without too much fuss, and keep the weight well below 1 ton.

But if it keeps interest and money coming in as they develop the new models, all good. :thumb:
