The article does not say anything about an Abarth version

It is wise move for Fiat as the 500L is large car (was looking at the dimensions recently - and was surprised that it is not that far from my Giulietta) and it needs the larger motor and the TCT to compete in the market

It says Abarth in the title of the article  :( Hopefully this piece of excrement will not be produced.

It should never have been named a 500 anything.

Where does this stupid branding end...

We have a 500c - perfect use of correct branding.

Then comes along this monstrosity - sorry to all those that own one- but it's not a looker.
And they name it a 500L.

    Sorry, slightly off topic.....

Don't see why fiat shouldn't call it a 500?  after all fiat did take the original 500 and make the giardiniera!  Plus anything that helps fiat compete and make money can only mean more future Abarth's?

but the giardiniara was a 500, the 500l is not even built on the 500 platform, its a totally unrelated vehicle :thumbd:

IMHO they should have called it the 600 - it is almost a natural progression but still with a historical reference

BTW I want an Abarth in that GREEN above
