Abarth mats and brochures
« on: October 29, 2008, 03:14:02 pm »
Hi,

Are these in stock at the dealers yet?  Seem to be priced about the same as Grande Punto mats so why not get a few more scorpions into the interior!

I've seen some appearing on Ebay but I assume these aren't "official" and I've heard good things about the quality of the Fiat ones.

Also, any brochures out yet?

John will answer about the brochures, I'm sure.

Mats on eBay are usually just standard GP mats with the old-style Abarth logo fitted.

The official mats are part number 46003939, priced at £41.70, and I have a source working on these as we speak.

Edit: if you want goodies, take a look at: https://www.abarthforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,23.0.html

Mats are due any day now, some dealers may even have them already.
As far as brochures go, there are no plans to make a brochure at the moment, the only way to get the official info on the car is to go to www.abarthcars.co.uk and download the official PDF file, or check out alexs threads where he has posted the official specs.

I've got some official Abarth mats on order, latest delivery date is sometime January.

I bought some mats off eBay, I forget the seller, but they have the latest logo and red binding. They look pretty good but are not of the same quality as the official ones I bought for the Barchetta.

Update on the delivery date. I was told yesterday that the mats should be here within a week or two. The dealer was told that the EsseEsse kits would be up to two months, they turned up this week.

It would be nice to get a brochure, if they ever produce them.

    Hi AlexK

How is the Mat situation going on, see that there are some non-official ones on e-bay, but nothing like the official ones 8)
As this is the correct thread I have noticed on e-bay that there have been a couple of press packs which includes CD with pics and a Brochure!!
I put my bid in, but saw that one went went to America for over £15 excl postage! Is the Abarth GP being released over there? Out of time for the other bid.
Has anyone managed to get their 'mits' on one of these packs!  :-X
Shame that Abarth UK budget, has been strangled by Turin. Hopefully situation will be rectified :'(

No mats yet and we could have been bidding against each other for the press pack. I didn't get one either.

Partsworld are selling genuine mats on eBay

Hopefully they'll be better than the photo, I've already paid for mine.  The ones I bought off eBay a while back look a whole lot better.

My wife has already complained that she won't have a logo her side.

Have to keep her sweet as she doesn't complain about my toys.
