Abarth Racing Boots
« on: April 18, 2009, 12:17:48 pm »
As some of you may be aware, Abarth offer branded red racing boots in their merchandise catalogue.

They retail at £150, but dealers can only order them in bulk.

John501 has kindly offered a group buy, as the minimum number he can order is 12 pairs.

If I can find another 11 or so people who are interested then he will place an order.

Post a message on this thread if you fancy a pair of these smashing red boots!  ;D

In the mean time I'll try and find some decent pictures and list the sizes.

Cheers, Joe  :thumb:

I can help you with some of that.

Sizes are EU35-46.  Pic attached.  And the infamous pic of Ivan wearing his is here.

    Thats a 33% discount :thumb:

I would have had a pair at £100 but I've currently got a very nice pair of Sparco Top Driver's that show no sign of wearing out.  Sorry - hope you get 11 people to join you.

The Sparcos are great in the car but not great for walking around in - the soles are so thin it is freezing in the winter and they just don't offer enough support for my foot arch.  I only wear them for trackdays.  Don't know if the Abarth ones would be the same but thought you'd like to know my experience.

Ivan didn't seem too uncomfortable when he was at Gaydon for 3 hours :thumb:
I would suggest that they are mainly for driving but could be used as "snazzy" trainers  ;D

I'd be up for a pair of 44s - have pumas at present that have worn out as used for track days and causal wear (not good for hiking though!)
