They are still very very rare. 0.08% of all SMMT registered car sales. Ford and Vauxhall each sell more cars in a day than Abarth's sell in a year.
Someone mentioned that they produce about 7,000 European spec Abarth's a year, I'm not sure how true that is, but if so that makes them as rare as a Maserati's and Ferrari's? :thumb:

    Data for March 2015

    March 2015 - 349

    (March 2014 - 305)

    Year to date : 528 (2014 - 420)

An increase of 14.43% compared to March last year, and over 25% up for the year so far.
You have to take into account that March was the release of the 15 Plate, so February's registrations figures are artificially very low, with people like me holding off their deliveries until March to boost the supposed residual value of their new car.

A 50% jump is amazing. I think we would all selfishly like to see it under 1k a year just for the rarity factor!

    Sorry Guys,

I've been so busy that I haven't been on the forum for a while, but here is the update to the registration figures.

Data for July, August & (65 Plate) September 2015

    July 2015 - 160
    (July 2014 - 116)

    Year to date (July) : 1238 (2014 - 905)

An increase of 37.93% compared to July last year,

    August 2015 - 85
    (August 2014 - 50)

    Year to date (August) : 1323 (2014 - 955)

An increase of 70% compared to August last year, but August Registrations are always low because of the plate change that comes in on 1st September.

    NOW THE BIG ONE!!

    65 Plate Registrations

    September 2015 - 706 (YES, SEVEN HUNDRED & SIX)
    (September 2014 - 331)

    Year to date (September) : 2029 (2014 - 1286)

An increase of 113.29% compared to September last year, and a year on year increase of 57.58%

I'm sure the limited editions have helped move some numbers in a short space of time.
