Thanks for posting! Will be interesting to see if the Top Gear episode has affected the sales of A500C's or just A500's.

Guess we'll see next month!

Just a few more details on the half year position for registrations.

    The A sector that the A500 falls under has declined a fairly substantial -22.7% 2010 (109,499) over 2011 (84,640).
However the A500 has actually increased its share of the A sector up from .63% 2010  to .71% 2011 due to its reduction being only -12.74%, 691 units 2010 to 603 units 2011.

Other comments on the A sector:  Well even without its appearance on TopGear on Sunday (10/07/11) the Nissan Pixo is the major faller with a -64.12% redudction and a scrappage scheme favourite the Kia Picanto is down -45.63% along with its other group product the Hyundai I10 down -39.27%. These cars combined to have 28.76% of the 2010 A sector market that has reduced to just 20.77% of the 2011 A sector market !!

Fiat has a very limited range of Pandas available in the Uk due to the new Panda out in September so there has been a major reduction of 2011 over 2010 which the group had anticipated and obviously next year great things are expected when it makes its appearance in the UK market.

Oh i do but you have to have your statoholic whits about you!!

Anyway Statoholics here is (late yet again sorry) the data for July

    July 2011
    A500               44
A500C             29   Yes the same # as in June

    500's Total       73

    AGP                 0
APE                 13  Yes the same # as in June

    All Abarth        86

Here are the figures for the 7 months Jan-July YTD

A500              498 * this has been adjusted as the press car A500C as used on TP & at Goodwood is a Manual
A500C            178    and one of my filters is transmission

    500's Total     676

    AGP                  1
    APE               103

    All Abarth       780

Abarth Punto Evo's now I was telling you last month that RED is the most exclusive APE to have that is still the case but only just as over the last 3 months twice as many REDs have been registered than BLACKS! In fact GREY has now overtaken BLACK in YTD APE registrations.

August will show the usual lul prior to the September new plate hype.

    All hail the Statto-King!  8)

Can't believe that at this rate there will be more AGPs than APEs in the UK... and even more incredulous that there are more Chrysler Delta's registered than total number of Abarth models in August!  :o
[ now: APE Supersport - white / formerly: AGP - velocity red ]       :: if it weren't for physics and law enforcement, i'd be unstoppable! ::

    Sept 2011

    A500      194
    A500C      49

                     243

    APE             24

    Total          267

Well as an extra Statoholic treat on the Lancia (Chrysler) front there were 138 Ypsilons registered in Sept so that'll be the dealer stock and to add to the 52 Deltas reg in Aug we saw 103 Lancia (Chrysler) Deltas reg in Sept. Yes there are 39 dealers so you can do the math to work out appropriate dealer demos!

I was shocked when i saw the retail list on the Delta earlier in the year the top model (Limited) lists at £25,695 and it is still another £250 for heated seats £800 for Xenon £950 for a sunroofon top!!

That's actually slightly up on Sept 2010.
    A500 + TMC + BMC + Yellowstuff + Motul RBF600 + KW V1 + OMP & Strut Braces - rear seats = esseesse+, + Change.
