Another oil topic
« on: August 05, 2017, 09:40:04 pm »
What oil do you guys use on the 180bhp 1.4L Multiair engine because surely the abarth tinned selenia is just marketing and at £22 per 2ltrs is expensive ?

As you have the Multiair engine it would be wise and prudent to use the oil recommended by Abarth.

Change it regularly with genuine filters.

Genuine filter ? Fiat dont make their own filters so why pay twice as much for one if the car isnt under warranty ?

Anybody on here using any other oil brand ? Castrol edge, fuchs ect ?

    Multi air oil strainer/filter

Dont forget to change the multiair oil strainer/filter ! I rang fiat and they didnt even know it existed. Mine was changed at 50k and was starting to show signs of blocking so i dare to say what an 80k one will look like.
