I am currently experiencing non existent customer service from a dealer .... They have finally got back to me today after emailing to a number of addresses within the group, about something that as been going on now for over a week.... They said it will be resolved by the end of today!

So without naming and shaming (unless you feel compelled to) what has been your best/ worst case scenario ?

I'm just waiting on a quote! They have my part, correction, had my part that I wanted painted and fitted.... I have a sneaky feeling it has gone walkies! .... Hence the delay? I have also been promised that someone will call me back last week- Nothing!  :-[

    Don't think this non-existant customer service is just confined to Abarth.  I have experienced this type of scenario with dealers representing Mercedes, smart, Vauxhall, and Ford. 
    I have come to the conclusion that dealers have a long way to go with regard to customer service.
    I used to say many years ago "...a good car spoiled by poor after-sales service...". I've yet to have had dealings with a dealer that he proved this mantra wrong!
    A500ss, Funk white, Xenons, Climate Control, Skydome, Red Leather, Split rear Seats, Electrochromic Rearview Mirror. Record Monza Exhaust, Koni FSD Dampers, Supagard paintwork and interior treatment.

    My worst experience has to be not being consulted on parking changes outside my mums property.  But that wasn't the worst bit - even though the council passed the buck and know they are in the wrong they dragged their feet about what should have been a simple fix  :thumbd:

    Guess that's what happens when You cut public services - worse customer service.

    Still have issues I had in feb....unless I phone them,,, I would never hear from them.....

    For me the worst customer service I've ever experienced was with Grimshaws Vauxhall, I took my car into their service department for a new heater control panel, two weeks later it failed again so I took it back to be checked under the parts warranty, went to collect it and they slapped me with a bill of £500+ for a diagnostic, new blower motor and labor (I hadn't been contacted about any of it). Refused to pay, they refitted the old blower motor, and surprise surprise it wasn't broken. After almost been taken for £500+ I didn't even receive an apology! - Never again.

    However, buying the Abarth was a dream, Steve and Dave at Bauer Millet in Manchester were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, helped me spec up my car to the standard I wanted, negotiated the best PCP plan and throughout the build period kept me regularly informed with its progress and kept me interested! Could not recommend the dealership enough, restored my faith in car salesmen!
