Panel v Cone filter
« on: November 03, 2014, 03:29:16 pm »
I'm ordering a new filter for my APE.
Been looking at the K&N cone filter as the reason im changing it is for the sound.
Hwoever, i've heard the cones will give less performance. Should i be worried about it? Want the sound but don't want to loose performance.

Personally Id stick with the panel filter.

Abarth use them for a reason, and the engine is set up to take in air through the specific filter and airbox.

Tests always seem to show up inconclusive on the performance gains using a cone filter, some results even do show a loss in performance.
