If you don't clean and feed the leather regularly  (once every couple of months at least) you will find that the leather will start to weaken and dry out.

Feeding the leather gives it an extra protective layer (almost like a screen protector on a mobile phone) which helps to stop wear and tear.

I have a picture on my Instagram  (can't upload as file is too big) which shows all of the grease and oil the seats build up. This isn't good for it either!

Grab the Leather/Alcantara cleaner and Nourish Leather wax from Obsession Wax. Both are excellent products and Nourish is a terrific all in one leather treatment. Softens the leather and also adds a layer of protection. Clean them monthly, apply a coat of wax every 3 months or so.

The worst place for me in both the current and previous car is the door cards.  Getting in and out of the car in the garage tends to mark them a bit.

NOTE: I'm not a cleaning pro so there may be better ways but this is what I did with the Esseesse.  I haven't got around to doing the Comp's Sabelts yet but they were done when it was new.  I try to do this twice a year at least, especially before and after the summer as the sun isn't that great for leather.  Whatever you do, as any products will state, test on a small inconspicuous area first.  If anyone has advice on cleaning alcantara for when I get around to it I'd be grateful.

I've just got some off the shelf Autoglym stuff.  Ones a leather cleaner, the other a protective palm.  Both I believe are for any colour.

The first is a spray, wiped/rubbed over with a cloth.  Then a wipe it off with another damp cloth and leave to dry.
The second is is more like a polish.  I've got a round sponge Meguirs polish applicator pad.  Rub it around, leave for a few minutes then buff off with a microfibre.  Just be careful on the door cards not to get it on the plastic as it makes that go shiny

The cleaner tended to make the red Turismo style seats in the Esseesse look a bit different (lighter but duller?), probably the lack of dirt.  The balm brought the brighter red colour back.  They looked a bit shiny when first done but soon went back to normal.

Incidently, if anyone has the mats with the Abarth logo, interior shampoo and a rub with a cloth brings the logo up quite well.

I use Auto Glym leather cleaner and care balm. I read loads of reviews online and for the price it's excellent. A little goes a long way!
