Servicing Info for all Abarth models

This sticky details the official servicing requirements for all Abarth models - Grande Punto, Evo, 500, 500C and 695, including all esseesse models.

This information comes direct from Abarth and supersedes any information contained within vehicle handbooks.  It is the same information that is published on the electronic system (eLearn) used by Abarth to inform the dealer network and is therefore the same information as available to your local dealer.  The information has been checked thoroughly, and any changes from the handbook have been confirmed by Fiat Technical as being correct. 

Therefore, to the best of our knowledge, the information contained here should be regarded as correct wherever a contradiction appears with your vehicle handbook.

    The vehicle must be serviced every 18,000 miles.

    However, if the mileage travelled in the last 12 months was less than 6,000 miles, an engine oil and filter change must be carried out.

    If the mileage travelled in each year is more than 6,000 miles but not enough to reach 18,000 miles in 24 months, an engine oil and filter change must be carried out after 24 months.

    To clarify a few points:

    - There is NO such thing as a low mileage service for any Abarth model.
    - FAMP, the system dealers use to produce fixed price menu servicing, IS NOT CORRECT for the Abarth models.  In fact, it's no longer correct for Fiat, either.
    - Oil changes and services DO NOT need to be alternated, i.e. if your last trip to the dealer was for an oil change, you do not automatically need a full service next unless you've reached the required mileage (18k).
    - Servicing is NOT time-based - it is entirely mileage dependent.  The only exceptions to this are: engine oil and filter, pollen filter, brake fluid and timing belt which must be changed as per the above charts.

    Here's an extreme illustration: Imagine an Abarth 500 that does extremely low mileage of only 2,000 miles a year.  It would require the following visits to the dealer:
