AGP halogens
« on: April 01, 2009, 04:23:41 pm »
just changed my bulbs on my AGP, both main beams and side lights

the results are a lot better looking car - iv taken some photos below but odviously its still day so you cant really see it properly.

if im honest with you it was a GIT to do, had to remove the top of the air box to do the drivers side bulbs, the electrical conectors are an absolute sod to get off especially with my shovel hands. its certainly a lot harder to change the bulb on the drivers side and i found that out by braking off the top part of the clip that holds the light in :'( didnt take much to snap so be careful if you change yours. the clip does still hold and theres no movement in the light its just not as sturdy as it was previous..... im a bit annoyed to be honest but its nothing major.

apart form that im happy with the result.

the top picture is a before shot and the one under is an after shot.

What bulbs did you put in? People are bound to ask.

I've been very impressed with the Osram Nightbreakers on the 500 glad I had them done. And the slightly blue DRLs look good with the grey.

The new colour of light really suits the car, especially against white. Makes the car look a lot more modern too I think. I won't be offended by your yellow sidelights in my rear view mirror at the next road trip!!!  :P

For the AGP sidelights are £4.99

Low and high beam (1 bulb in the AGP) are £9.99.

Absolute bargain for the AGP. Much cheaper than the A500 to do!

yeah basically you need 1 set of high/low bulbs and 1 set of side bulbs

for the abarth 500 you need 2 sets of high/low and 1 set of sides.
