Probably one for John and Chunky, but can any of the Esseesse components be ordered separately?

Say, for instance, a customer just wants the exhaust upgrade.

(because they're a tart and want it to sound better but don't want aftermarket fitment issues or warranty hassles)

All parts available in the Esse Esse Kit are available through Abarth dealer parts departments. I haven't worked the figures out myself, but we were told in Turin, that if you ordered all the parts from the Esse Esse kit separately, it would work out about 60% more expensive.

The guy I was interested buying the exhaust from confirmed, that the SS only has the back part of exhaust different? How come? So there IS also a different manifold and cat section?

So, would keeping the old IHI and putting on the SS exhaust make any sense at all?

no problems, the new backbox comes with a joiner piece included so you just cut the existing backbox and fit the new.

the rear silencer is part of the centre exhaust section, i cant remember if there is a flange just after the flexi joint or it continues all the way to the close-coupled cat though.

its the same sort of set-up as a mk2 punto, its all one-piece from pretty much the engine bay of the car upto and including the rear silencer and then you cut the centre/rear section to fit a new backbox.   

not sure why they do it that way, it looks as though the exhaust system is put on before the rear axle is fitted.
