Title: Can SS discs/pads be bought if you don't have a SS?
Post by: Hawk on June 12, 2009, 11:15:31 pm

Hi

I have a standard AGP and want to replace/upgrade the brakes as the front discs are slightly warped causing a bit of steering wheel shake under braking.  I have done nearly 6,000 miles but doubt these will be covered under warranty? (hope i'm wrong)

I cannot find any decent aftermarket discs and pads (any ideas anyone?) so it looks like it will have to be replace like for like or upgrade to the SS discs and pads but i'm not sure if you have to have a SS AGP in the first place to be able buy them?

Has anyone else had any trouble with warped discs, standard or SS??

Cheers

Paul

took mine off at 5500 miles, no problem with them, let me know if you want them, otherwise, consider the assetto  kit

Cheers for the offer  :thumb:

Really I would like to upgrade them so i'll do a bit more investigating and see what I find.

Does anyone know if EBC make discs & pads for the AGP yet?  I suppose it depends if the same discs and calipers are found on a more 'popular' car. anyone know??

Thanks
