There is no positive or negative end to a resistor so it doesn't matter which way round you fit it.

Fair enough, so what would need doing, strip down the centre of each wire and solder the resistor onto each wire?

    Pretty much :thumb:

    Managed to just bend the metal coming off the resistor in a u shape and just push it into the back of the sidelight plug which saved a lot of hassle stripping down wires and soldering. The resistors have worked anyway and the lights look pretty dam good  :thumb:

    No offense taken, everyones entitled to their own opinions  :thumb: Everyone thats seen them so far has said they look amazing but seem to agree with your point of the law/fine

    The police do seem to be very relaxed over here compared to the rest of the UK I've seen a fair few people with similar lights on and one of my brothers friends got stopped and asked to change them 9 times  :o but never got round to it  :whistle: then ended up selling the car
