esseesse TUNING
« on: March 10, 2011, 08:12:22 pm »
First of all, Hello! - first post :)

Can I please pick your Abarthisti brains...

I picked up my AGP ESSEESSE the other day, and hugely impressed with the grip and power it can offer.

Im looking to do a few performance upgrades. I had an custom exhaust fabricated the day I bought it.
Just wondering though as people on here rave about TMC and the gains to be had. However, the general consensus among tuners offering live remaps believe that the ESSEESSE is at its limit with the BHP it produces. So im a tad confused.

If I say a RELIABLE 210BHP is my target, what would you suggest, am I dreaming?? Are the TMC figures very optimistic??

    A reliable 210bhp is easy.
Spend £300 on a TMC box and it's job done!

I'm sure that is more than possible. I don't know what figures AGP + TMC standard have been making on dyno's.

Agp Ss with TMC box has been dyno'd at 216 bhp. That Garrett turbo can run up to 230-240 bhp.

Thanks for your responses everyone! Sounds like good news then  ;D
And secondly, has any body successfully installed a decat without a dashboard warning? Or managed to remove the warning permanently?

Tmc is a way of life here   ;D A must for all Abarth owners.  :thumb: good to see another agp SS on here not many of us.

Also I don't think you will need to bother with a decat on the SS because it's got a sports cat anyway so don't think you will gain much from putting a decat on.

Good you will love it  :thumb:

What you had done to your exhaust so far? I've got a powerflow cat back and can get pops just revving it not loud ones though can when moving on the odd occasion.

Cant believe it makes that much difference, but time will tell!
Ive had some quick cars before but the Abarth makes me giggle like a little girl.
How many SS's are there then, I've only ever seen one other driving about??
