Yeh, im a fan of the exhaust. It's the one thing im really not pleased with. The A500 sounds lovely as standard but the AGP girlie looking exhaust doesn't sound half as good. After hearing magicmoles and seeing how agressive it makes the rear of the AGP look, im definetly getting one. Will be ordering the Gtech silver exhaust next week.

with regards to a new exhuast is this something that has to be fitted at the dealers or any garage? how much do you guys reckon it will cost to have the full system fitted, as if i'm gonna do i've got a month b4 i go to scotland to work so i'll wanna get it done b4 then hopefully

Yeh, magicmole is indeed your man. He got a ragazzon exhaust fitted for £140 at his dealers. I know that much   

I know a guy with a set off ramps and a pit which would be will to do it for me just needed to know if this is ok to do or if it has to be taken to the dealer which at the moment is 2hrs away from me

The Ragazzon exhaust did indeed cost £140 total to be fitted but only because I had it done in two stages. First the back box which cost £70 and then the intermediate and flexy pipes which cost a further £70.

If you've got access to a pit it should be quite straight forward. The flexy pipe bolts to the cat and then intermediate pipe bolts to the flexy pipe. The back box/ rear pipe bolts to the intermediate pipe (cue singing - now hear de word of de Lord). Unfortunately the rear pipe is routed above the rear axle and so you need to cut through the pipe to remove it. I think that if you've only got a set of ramps this could prove difficult though not impossible but with a pit you would be fine.

Please note these instructions are for the Ragazzon system though I assume the G-Tech would be similar. I don't think the G-Tech includes the front flexy pipe though I could be wrong.

As an aside I took Old Boy for a spin the other day. I had the back seats down and no parcel shelf and the sound was weird. OB commented that it sounded like a air leak, a loud whooshing noise from the rear at high revs, no bass overtones at all. We were in a rush so I didn't have time to put the seats up until I got home. Then the sound was back to normal - usual bass notes and intake roar from the front of the car.

Car acoustics can be strange I know. Shortly after I got my previous Barchetta I noticed a noise coming from under the left of the dash. I could find it at all until I finally realised it was an aluminium tax disk holder high on the right hand side of the windscreen. It had come loose and was tapping against the screen.

But then again my ears are probably duff.

140 £ total?! 

How the hell did you manage to get it at that price? Official page says 340 € just for the back box! As for G-tech - they want 600 € for that part...crazy. But I just adore that sound too much to keep me away from it...
