Middle box delete standard rear box
« on: June 10, 2015, 04:02:18 pm »
Hi all
Has anyone got a straight through middle pipe with the standard backbox?
Looking to add a little more noise without going custom or aftermarket.

Definitely do it... The EVO has a straight mid section, I don't know for sure but they might be a straight swap (you should check before you do anything though to be sure!)

I'm definately thinking of it. I spoke to my exhaust place that said it wasn't worth doing, on turbos in general, though almost all turbo hatchbacks are improved by deleting the middle box so def thinking of doing it.
The place is knowledgable but I'm not overly sure whether they are right.
They did say to chop the back box off but I'm not sure I want it THAT loud.
