Maby I have just been very unlucky with how my car as reacted to the tuning.... just find it difficult to believe those gains from not much more than what I done and it is also the smaller turbo... who knows!

I don't mean to be disrespectful but I very, very much doubt you're running that kind of power through what is effectively an OEM car.

The thing that always makes me laugh is that people in general take the Rolling Road figure given to them by the tuner as gospel.

Rolling Road figures are incredibly easy to manipulate, I wouldn't mind betting that another (possibly more accurate) RR would give you a figure 30-40bhp lower than that.

The little IHI turbo is well out of its comfort zone at that kind of power.  To think of it I don't even think the injectors are rated to flow that highly either (they are replaced during the Esseesse kit install).

Thats why I find it hard to believe... I have 190 bhp in effectively a more powerful engine from n/a with the same upgrades as you and your churning out over 20 bhp more than me..? It just isn't plausible.

No disrespect taken, You say 30-40bhp less but judging by lets say the TMC box pumping the standard GPA into the 180 area, with the mods listed Im pretty sure it will be running a higher than them. I do have a rolling road session coming up at the end of the month at a tuner closer to me so I will post up the graph and results. I do have the Corsa VXR injectors in mine so the injectors are up to the job.

I was directing my posts more towards the original starter of the thread, sorry for the confusion.

I don't understand how his grande punto with lets be honest, an inferior engine, can be producing more bhp than my car.... essentially my car started at a higher output to begin with as an SS punto evo, having the better turbo of the two and the multi-air valve timing, he has a basic abarth grande at 155 bhp, mines 180 bhp, yet his car jumps to 196 bhp and mines 190 bhp when its running a high octane fuel also  :-\

Doesn't seem possible to me that with the same level of modding, essentially a re-map of each of our cars gives him an increase of 40 bhp+ and my car only 10 bhp.....

Oh its ok ha, It does sound like an optimistic value to be hounest. With yours running 180 standard, with a remap you should be seeing 200+ judging by the results of others using the TMC box. I personally havnt heard of the tuning company but thats another topic so back on topic... Custom is the way to go for the value for money in my eyes, plenty of popular fabricators around that should give you a top notch cat back system for 400ish. I had mine done by powerflow north west in chester and the TIG welded bends etc are very tidy.

My next car, I will be going down the re-map route after not exactly being overly impressed with the TMC box, the numbers at least haven't impressed me, the car feels much more reponsive etc but I was promised 200+ and after bringing it up with TMC I was expected a better response than I got, was after a refund. Anyway here is my dyno run figures.
