    bullsh*t: 45 euro´s! It´s just a filter! Same u can fit on a scooter! Same BMC does that, its a pure rip-off!

GPA (esseesse or not) uses recirculated "dumpvalveair". Get rid of the bend piece of rubber, seal of the end to the airintake (otherwise it sucks unfiltered air in the engine), get a rubbertube and filter (or just a filter when it fits correctly), and ready! Filter is there more for optic. Dust or anything that woulf fall in would be blown off at almost every gearchange anyway XD.

Here a link to a movie where u can see how the bend piece is put of the already installed dumpvalve which every GPA has stock.

Here is how i did it with a K&N filter for at least half of the price.

Search and u could find some for even less, like this: http://www.scootparts.nl/epages/Scootparts.sf/nl_NL/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Scootparts/Products/22UN05

Installation: within 5-10 minutes you should have everything done!

Not exactly? The GPA has a dumpvalve, with re-air-intake, you dont hear a thing. Pop off you hear ;). Only thing, it doens´t make a really pop off sound, more a PSSSHHHHHHH, or a PSSSHHHppsshhhPPPPPSSSHHHppssshhhhh (more and less sound in the same pop off XD).

so a pop off makes your dump valve louder in simple terms?

No, the pop off is a result that the dumpvalve blows off the air of the turbo when not needed by the engine (when gearing up/down). Normally in the GPA this circuit is closed (air goes back to airintake). When this blows off in the air, then you have the pop off sound ;).

btw does the pop-off filter make the GPA loose hp's?

i'm going to fit a BMC CDA in my GPA, so i should get 1/2hp's (not noticeable i guess), but i still don't know if i should fit the pop-off filter...i like the sound, but i didn't want to loose performance/hp's... shadow did you lost performance in your GPA?

You dont gain or loose bhp. For me I experianced less turbo-lag!

Its just that the BMC filter is way to expensive! There are other solutions that are much cheaper. The filter is mainly for optics only! Also from the picture it isn´t very nice fabricated?
