I assume the offending electronics had been removed and standard spec ecu etc substituted before it came in to you,or was it the 'brain' being interrogated couldn't tell tales on the owner?

    Ive had my Tjet done by them and have had no problems. I have also had warrenty work carried out while my car is mapped with no problems. The Map wont flash up on the dealers Diagnostics equipment so they cant prove anything in house if it has been mapped. The ECU would have to be sent off to Fiat for them to look at it to see if the mapping had been changed. If you live near red dot anyway its not a big deal as they will take the map off and put it back on for you should you need to go in for any warrenty work :) My car is going back down to them to get a map tweek for the few new extras i have added :)

    We had a car recovered the other day which we think has been mapped but out diagnostic can not pick up the programe, we had issues trying to update the software on it but got there in the end, we just cant tell if its mapped or not!

    smartarse are a smart car specialists and my mates who im going to see on the way to the ring (well via amsterdam and spa in belgium  :thumb:

    thats really the main reason im doing this, to get the best out of the mods I have done, im not all about BHP figures and am a proper believer in a 'properly' set up car (suppose thats why im a big lotus fan)

    Im not that bothered about figures. Not the highest on paper but its quicker than what most people think. Will hopefully see it up to 160 and above with my new stuff though.
