painting body trim plastics

Hi there

Has anybody painted the body trim plastics on their agp, if so where did you get the work done, thinking of gloss black to replace my current fading grey  :-\

    I used autoglym bumper and trim gel on my faded trims,came up like a treat.  :thumb:

    one of mine is painted in a two pack textured paint, it looks just like a brand new plastic one but doesn't fade the same as plastic. the plastic trim does fade though so I have to keep on top with the trim shine so you can't see the change of shade :thumb:

    How about PlastiDip with a glossifier? Then you can peel it off if you don't like it!

    Got a quote today for £760 plus vat thinking of taking care of them.a bit.better instead

    I got two new ones for £235, one slightly scuffed cost 30 quid to repaint, £760 seems a bit steep :thumbd:

    Yeah? I had no idea how.much it would be but does seem a lot, just checked out.plastidips and it looks pretty awesome, whole car from £250

    this is on my to do list as when i get my rear spoiler painted i was thinking of getting my plastic trim painted to match, as when i polished the car some of the polish got into my black trim and dont look its best  :(.
    full custom exhaust, tmc induction kit.
    wish list s2ooo rear spoiler and forge dumpvalve.

    Haven't used it on my trim plastics, but as Andrew said, I've seen C4 work miracles on some cars!

    Failing that, Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel is worth a punt. If you don't mind putting it on every couple of weeks, it's fairly cheap and goes a long way. Had a bottle of it for over 2 years and I'm not even a quarter of the way through it yet :thumb:

    where i am getting my spoiler done they have quoted me 150 to paint all the trim gloss black. safe to say that is getting done as well. :)
