Special Gauges for AGP
« on: August 30, 2010, 11:07:26 am »
Hi guys!

I've been thinking of mounting special gauges in my car prior to make a step further to tuning: oil pressure, exhaust gas temperatures, oil temperature...
Is anyone here using that? How much work in the engine bay is neccessary (almost sure for temp. of exhaust gas - how about pressures and oil temperature?)
I'm not into fancy nice looking stuff - I preffer precission and the fact that stuff actualy does what it's suposed to do!

Any further info regarding this matter would be highly appreaciated!

Thank you!

I don't think your car will go into any red zones for exhaust temp and the other things you want to monitor, so what is the point?

Added weight and more things that may go wrong, let the car computer look after things.

Keep your eyes on the road for the idiots, they pose a greater threat.

Well, I like to play on a safe side when it comes to this to be honest. Besides, am I the only one thinking that taking care of all that is of crucial importance when you alter the ECU settings? Im sure everything is pretty high up safe when it comes from the factory though...

    Thanx for your input!
