TMC tuning Box 3/4 boost
« on: August 24, 2014, 04:13:55 pm »
Hi guys,

I have just fitted a TMC Tuning Box to my 08 AGP (on setting 6 &7). first thing I have noticed when i put my foot down is the digital boost gauge does not go 100%

I have checked all the wiring and sensors are secure. Also have disconnected the battery to reset the ECU.

The car does feel more lively but I do think it is holding back.

Any help will be much appreciated

Yeah, ignore the digital boost gauge...  It was never very a accurate, adding a TMC renders it pretty useless :)

    Thanks will,

I left my car for a few hours and then went back out for a trip on the A40, she seemed fine, boost gauge was going to max and the car has transformed with the TMC box :)
time to increase the setting :)

    Thanks

Are these TMC boxes really worth it being around 1/3-1/2 the cost of a full remap?

I'm interested to find one for my PE Sporting to up the 135bhp into Abarth territory.  :thumb:
