If I upgrade to the esseesse which I might place my order for in the next couple of weeks then I will be selling a set of the esseesse alloys for the 500 as I prefer my 10 spokes.

Not unless you get the SS upgrade, or someone who has wants to sell them (unlikely)

The 10 spokes are one of the 17" upgrades (Standard on the LE Spec though), the orginals are 16" but do look smart.

I have tried both sets (the original GP Abarth 17in. wheels and the GP Abarth SS 18 in. wheels) and I can say that the GP Abarth SS performs MUCH better with the 18 in. wheels provided.

    Hello

I have kept the 17s on my EsseEsse and would be interested to find out what it would improve if I changed to 18s

When I got the EsseEsse kit put on a lot of people on here said that the 18s produce less spin in wet weather etc but overall there isn't much difference?

What difference would you say it has on the car?

Should be more responcive in the turns ride comfort will suffer a little though but think of it this way y do f1 cars have huge tyres and tiny alloys??? its for the grip

i've just changed from 18s to 17s for the winter, i can only describe the ride as a bit squidgier, feels like the back wheels roll on the side walls slightly more when cornering :thumb:

No, the regulations limit the wheel diameter.

Greetings. :) By wearing the 17in. wheels of "normal" GP Abarth on the GP Abarth Esseesse, you will experience excessive wheelspin and no good traction. And because of this, for starters, there will be more tire wear. And because of this excessive wheelspin, the Esseesse kit loses the extra power and torque provided because of no traction. Now, as for the 18in. wheels, I can say that the car handles better with the 18in. wheels because of the lower tire profile. Less wheelspin is a very noticeable change, especially in bad weather condition. ;) However, if you have kept your 18in. wheels, I highly recommend you mount them on. They're the best. :D

As funny as this may sound, the ride confort in the GP Abarth SS with the 17in. wheels is more or less the same as with wearing the 18in. wheels. I've noticed this on my GP Abarth SS. The suspension plays a much bigger role in ride confort. ;)

Hmm not my experience at all.

No different wheel spin on 17 wheels to 18 inch wheels (i.e. none unless it's very wet and you're being far too aggressive).

17 are so much better for ride comfort than the 18, due to the extra side wall height of rubber.

i don.t have an issue with wheelspin with either tyre, its totally controlled by the right foot not the tyres :thumb:

I bought a set of OZ's (17 ") with an ET of 40 and they hit the front calipers, now looking for something like OZ Chrono's or Super/Ultraleggeras but what ET (from peoples personal experience) fit without spacers?

I use 7J Allegerittas and ET 30 - fits well.
I use Mille Miglia winter setup with 6,5 J and 35 seems to be working too...
