I think there's a dealer at stoke, which is prob nearer but not much in it. When i get some time next wk i will phone to make an appointment.  How do you find the suspension, i know it's firm from reviews but meant to be fairly compliant?  It just used to be annoying in the type-r bouncing all over the place. i like a sporty drive but i doubt the type-r would be any quicker for it.

Its firm but forgiving. Its nothing like the firmness of a type R. I do believe its the best of both worlds. Its a usable car with good mpg but can turn at the touch of a button into a real good little hot hatch.

I've read you can get 40mpg fairly easy. so 35mpg giving it some boot is very good. I live in derbyshire and the type-r was to hard for the roads round here, in fact a mate had a clio sport without the cup suspension because of the bumpy off camber roads around here.

Which part of Derbyshire? I live near Alfreton and the roads are disgusting.

I've put Eibachs on mine but the ride isn't too bad at medium speed. At low speed it's another matter.

40mpg easily? Only on a run. I've been getting a consistent 30mpg - sport mode, 12 mile commute to Mansfield.

Black, not sure what spec yet. Will try and keep it fairly low key i think. I am 35 with a child now so think white with red decals is out for me. Even tho they look very good.
