Title: Abarth Grande Punto - Water Leak - Coolant Carrier Pipe?
Post by: ConorW on February 04, 2018, 08:16:09 pm
Hi all,

I'm not mechanically minded so this information is from my local indy garage and my own online research...

My AGP has a water leak and my local indy garage has diagnosed it to be a large steel coolant pipe believed to be the 'Coolant Carrier Pipe', part number 55211894.

They cannot source one from a Motor Factors and have said that a new original part will have to come from Fiat at a cost of over £300.

Has anyone else had to replace this part and if so where did you get it from?  Options much appreciated.

I've attached 4 pictures; 3 of the engine bay and rusty pipe and one of the part required

Thank you

Hi

I have just replaced the flexi pipe form the turbo shown in pic 1.

Lucky to get a used one and that the metal pipe which goes to the water pump didn't break.

Sorry to confirm prices from Abarth (Simonstone) £310 for the 2 pipes.

Sorry to bump this old thread but..any chance you have the part number for this pipe? I found the part nr for the bigger one, but not for the flexi pipe..
